Windows Vista: setup doesn't detect your harddisk?

Loosely speaking, Windows Vista DVD includes driver for most common IDE and SATA disk controllers. So,it is expected to recognize all disk controller. But unfortunately sometimes it does not. For those case, you need to provide your driver CD. If setup doesn't recognize your disk controller,it will prompt you to provide a driver when you see "Where do you want to install windows?", simply remove the windows Vista DVD and insert your disk containing the storage driver( it is actually the HARD DISK's driver, you can find it on web or even you can provide that by inserting previous Windows Xp CD.) then reinsert the Windows Vista DVD.
